How Kick Ad Revenue Works
On Kick, streamers keep 100% of ad revenue. Kick doesn't take a cut, so every dollar goes directly to you.
Ad revenue is measured in CPM (Cost per Mille), the amount paid per 1,000 ad views. A CPM of $3 means you earn $3 for every 1,000 viewers who see an ad. CPM shifts based on things like your audience's region, engagement, and the content you stream.
Kick's ad monetisation is still pretty new, so there's limited real-world CPM data for the platform. Our estimates use data from platforms like Twitch as a starting point. Take the numbers as a ballpark rather than a hard prediction.
Engagement is based on the ratio of viewers to unique chatters. A chattier audience tends to attract better ad rates.

How Kick Sub Pricing Works
Kick has a flat 95/5 revenue split for all streamers, Affiliates and Partners alike. There's only one subscription tier at $4.99 USD, so you take home $4.74 per sub.
Kick uses localised pricing, so what a viewer actually pays can vary by region and the USD equivalent may not always be exactly $4.99.

What are KICKs?

KICKs are Kick's virtual currency. Viewers buy them and spend them in chat to send animated messages during a stream. 100 KICKs = $1.09 USD, and streamers get roughly 96% of the face value as their payout.
Other Streamer Revenue Sources
Beyond Kick's built-in monetisation, brand deals and sponsorships are a common way streamers earn extra. What those pay varies a lot depending on the brand and your audience size. Direct donations from viewers are another option that doesn't rely on platform features at all.
